Tracey Godfrey set up the successful tg Jewellery Design - Academy in the spring of 2008. Teaching regular classes and workshops for all abilities specializing in Metal Clay (Precious Metal Clay and Art Clay) and Mixed media.. Her background has been in bead work for the last few years and was looking for a new way to expand her collection. Tracey enjoys being hands on in a creative capacity, so when she was introduced to Metal Clay in 2006, soon realized this was the medium she wanted to work with and has been focused with the endless possibilities that Metal Clay has to offer. Tracey prefers organic natural forms, as well as the simplicity and a contemporary style. Metal Clay gives this her. Tracey was fortunate enough to have lived in Africa throughout her childhood. She spent a number of years in Australia and Canada and now lives in the United Kingdom. All the different textures and cultural diversities have an influence on her designs.
